The coach sets his focus on the amazing player he can be today and together they take action. Taking action is the way to improve your game. Remaining focussed on the outcome brings the desired results. Our thoughts, beliefs and emotions are just assumptions, based on our life experiences. | Imagine when you are born you are lifted up to show your magnificence, like Simba in "The Lion King" Everyone is excited you are here. They cheer and shout out 'Welcome.' For the first 2 years of your life you are nurtured by the mother and the father's role is to take you up to the highest mountains to show you what life is all about. Then you are put down to work out the rules of the jungle and experience it. You go into hiding- and you try to make sense of everything and everyone. You forget why you are here. You come out of hiding then you rush back in. You look for someone to lift you up again to your magnificence (mentors, parents and special friends) and you start to make up stories to make sense of your purpose here. You then move on through life to the dragon stage-The Myth. You invite people into your life to explore what you are here to learn. You begin to enmesh yourself into emotions, thought patterns that create circumstances that often send you back into hiding. But what if you were told that past this Myth is only 'Treasure', the beautiful you that was held high and bowed to by everyone on your arrival. You came with a purpose. |
