Your Garden

For people who love to enjoy their surroundings ...

Have you ever wondered why some houses are more appealing than others?

The landscape in which the house or business is situated influences the Feng Shui of any building.

First impressions on entering a site are important for our-selves and visitors. The surroundings and the style of the home need to compliment each other.

The height, shape, colour, elements and position of plants, trees and garden features determine the balance of the garden.

Paths

The size, shape and material of paths affect the energy flow into the building.

Boundaries

Do the boundaries of your site support your home?
Do you feel safe and protected?

Garden Furniture and Structures

Garden furnishings should be in keeping with the overall theme of your house and garden.
  Do they compliment the surroundings?

Lighting

Lighting can be used as a remedy for inauspicious areas or missing sectors as well as increasing the energy.

Water Features

Water features are always advised but should be positioned carefully.

Pots, sculptures, plaques and ornaments.

Sculptures have a place and purpose and subconsciously have a profound effect on our well-being.

Plants and Trees

Are you aware of the needs and purposes of the plants and trees you choose?
Certain plants attract good Feng Shui and others can cause problems.
A good Feng Shui garden caters for the five senses.
Colour and shape of plants and shrubs should compliment each other.

Perspective, colour, pattern and shape are important for balance and harmony.

Case Study

When called to a client's house for a consultation, we found the house surrounded by overgrown trees and shrubs.

After applying Feng Shui principles and drawing up a garden plan many recommendations were made to lighten and invite more active energy into the site.

Our garden plan gave her clear ideas about placement of trees, shrubs, garden beds and plants that suited her home. We re-positioned her pot plants, garden furniture and bird bath.

Later she reported that not only had her life changed dramatically since her Feng Shui consultation, but she now enjoys her new interest in gardening, the views from her windows and the positive compliments she receives.

She loves her new surroundings.
